I love the nod to 1920's countryside style in this young lads outfit (left) captured in Edinburgh by the Facehunter. I couldn't help but think of The Wind That Shakes the Barley, a brilliant movie about the struggles of the Irish nationalists in the 20s. Ok I know, this guy is from Scotland and I'm thinking of Ireland, but since this is a fashion blog, the style is remarkably similar and it's worth a little mention. Throughout the movie my mind kept bouncing back and forth from admiring the choices of color and cut in the suits to being overwhelmed by the moving story. The movie brought me close to tears when I thought that similar things have happened in the past, and keep happening over and over again. But that's another matter entirely.

I love your blog and your style, I've linked you :)
I love the juxtaposition. It seems to pull out different emotional elements from each picture.
I loved that film too.... and I see the similarity!
