New Glasses!

Yesterday I finally got around to renewing my prescription so I can purchase a new pair of glasses. Here's a little preview of them. I'll post better photos when I can get good daytime lighting again. I got tired of the sleek and narrow styles and decided to go with something different this time around. I also didn't want thick frames, as they hide too much of my face. The frames are a tortoise-shell pattern up close. They're slightly nerdy, but not over the top. Opinions?

I think my pants need some ironing.

I love this outfit - you pull off the short, rolled up pants very well. About the glasses, I think I like them, but I personally like to see the bangs on you...
Either way though you have a great look :)

I actually like your hair tied back, it opens up your face and looks fresh :)
I really love the glasses! They have a somewhat vintage style to them, no?

I love the pants, but I think your hair looks better down. I see it has reverted to winter where you live, too.

Great glasses! I recently had my prescription renewed and was surprised and how bad my glasses were for my eyesight before! xx

Awesome pants! I need to know where I can find glasses like yours! Are they vintage?

Anonymous #2: You should sign your name so I can properly address you :) These glasses are Burberry. They definitely have a vintage feel to them, which is why I was to attracted to them in the first place. I found these at Lenscrafter's, so if you have on of those around, they'll probably have these or something similar. It was slim pickings though.

oh very nice. wow. beautiful proportions. i like the frames too - you managed to get ones with substantial size (i don't like petite glasses), yet they do not obscure your face at all. mission accomplished.

I think the glasses suit your face beautifully. It's not like a lot of people can pull glasses off so well, but you're definitley one of them.

I adore your outfit as well by the way, and the pants look fine even without ironing. :)
