Today I wore my new/old grey blazer. I'm not sure whether it's the muddy rain boots or size of the shoulders on the blazer, but something makes this outfit look a little dumpy. Maybe it's both. I think I prefer it worn with heels. But ah, such is the weather. I should have lied and put heels on for the photo! Now I feel a little bit nervous about posting muddy boots on a fashion blog... heh

Hey those boots look good anyways!
I love that blazer/cardi combo
Those boots look great, they remind me of riding boots... and I desperatly want a pair of those.

With your legs, dumpy doesn't happen! I love this, probably because of the boots! They're much cooler than the stupid ones I wear around in the mud and the snow.
stunning!
you don't look dumpy at all!
that look is amazing.
seriously that blazer is such a gorgeous colour and contrast of two different fabrics.

Te tengo en el bloglines desde hace tiempo y me tienes entusiasmada con tus looks. Qué estilazo!
I read you in my bloglines time ago, and you got me super excited with your looks, soo stilish!!
pffffft
when it's a vancouver fashion blog, muddy rain boots just come with the territory
Haha I guess they are inevitable. How do all these other fashion bloggers walk around in sandals all the time? Even in London? Don't they have a lot of rain there too? Maybe they drive... and don't have to walk around on a campus that is infamous for giant puddles.
Soo cute:) i adore your dress!

I don't think it looks dumpy. I love the layering and the rain boots aren't bad either. I wish mine weren't so, err, polka-dotted.
love the layering

where is your tri-pod thingy from?
Honestly, the outfit looks great as is! I wouldn't call Hunter boots unfashionable...
Also, I just wanted to say that I admire your inventiveness with clothes -- you're always flipping something inside out, pinning it up, and so on... and the result is always gorgeous!
This is so chic! I love the layering you did with the blazer, vest, and top.
gosh i love your blazer!
