I really do have spring fever...

Ok, I have pretty much filled up my floral pattern quota for the next decade. I guess I just zeroed in on something missing from my closet and went a little crazy. Once a certain look gets into my head it really stays there. That said, I'm still guilt free, because any pattern makes for great layering opportunities. You can pull so many different colors together with a good pattern.

j'aimetamere: Nice name :P Yes I did thrift it. I had to adjust the sleeves and shorten the bottom though. The hem still needs a bit of work. I'm not the best seamstress haha.

Anonymous: What shall I call you by? Those shoes are quite a story. They're actually nursemate shoes O.O I took out the laces and replaced them with these blue ones. White ones show too much dirt anyways. Every now and then the front of the shoe comes loose from the bottom and I have to superglue them. The leather is also a little worn because I scrub them clean so much. It's a labour of love. I don't know why I put up with them so much :P Silly isn't it?

I saw your comment on my page about Vancouver fashion week. Are you also from vancouver? haha if you are I would love to get some tips on where you get your amazing thrift store finds from :). The only vintage stores I know are mintage, that true value vintage in downtown and zebra. I'm not sure of the other names but yes..

haha wow so did you order the nursemate shoes online or is there actually a shop to go to? =) that's the first time I've heard of that brand. I like the little blue heart at the side. Haha well there are just some shoes that you'll attach sentimental value to right? =) Thank you for your quick reply! (My name is seraphina by the way. I don't have a google account so I have to remain anonymous)

The nursemate shoes were shiny and brand new on the racks of the local Salvation Army! I bought them last summer when I absolutely had to have a pair of white shoes and couldn't afford the expensive repetto's
