Desert Song

Desert Song - Vogue Nippon March 2009

The styling of this editorial sings to me. It is almost on the verge of overwrought, but I love the printed silks, cinched waist and bare shoulders look. Are you guys sick of me talking about prints yet? I just feel like draping myself in a multitude kaleidoscopic wonder. But where to find such lovely things on a budget? That's a bit more of a challenge.

If it wasn't so cold I'd really like to break out this Zara dress again.

those are great. It's so hard to find really good prints at an affordable cost though, I don't know why....

This editorial looks really cool. I love the prints, though the bangles almost seem like too much.

printed silk scarves! worn as tops. experiment with tying them in different ways to get different necklines. and you can find all sorts at thrift shops.
